Jill earned her Nursing Degree at Baylor University - Louise Herrington School of Nursing. She also has a BA in Anthropology at Southern Methodist University. She is the driving force behind Therapy-Plan. The Covid Pandemic, Healthcare Worker Shortage, Nursing Shortage, Healthcare Disparities and Patient Non-Compliance are why Jill created Therapy-Plan. She believes identifying educational barriers, creating solutions to said barriers, providing appropriate education, reiterating key concepts, and encouraging compliance will eliminate healthcare ignorance and disparities, improve patient compliance with positive outcomes, and maintain patient participation with therapy consistency.
At Therapy-Plan, we educate to help reduce hospital re-admission rates. We coordinate with hospital case management and discharge planners to reinforce hospital initiated education to promote and maintain patient compliance. We aim to decrease hospital re-admission rates through patient education and compliance.
Discharging from the emergency department can cause some confusion with regard to patient plan of care. Therapy-Plan will educate patients and help remove the guess work when it comes to following the newly prescribed therapy plan from the emergency department. We aim to decrease frequent emergency department visits through patient education and compliance.
Therapy-Plan, respects the provider/patient relationship. We work in conjunction with the Health Care Provider to provide patient education. Therapy-Plan provides the necessary educational component for complex patients with multiple co-morbidities, thus freeing up the healthcare provider. We aim to increase time within the medical practice through patient education and compliance.
